However, since we are considering small and portable televisions here, you will most likely not always be within the ideal viewing distance range.
The viewable rectangular screen dimensions for an exactly 15 inch diagonal 16:9 aspect ratio TV would be 13.08 inches wide by 7.35 inches high. In reality, 15 inch TV screen dimensions will likely vary slightly by a fraction of an inch either more or less, as television screen size classes are rounded to the nearest whole inch.
